Daily Motivation and Time Management for Busy People | Making Use of Each Valuable Second
Sometimes we are so busy that we become frozen to the spot, unable to decide what has to be done next or what has the most important priotity on our 'to do' list that day.
You can become so overwhelmed that you can become unable to make good use of your time management skills, and even worse, you just cant motivate yourself to get organised and stop procrastinating.
Procrastination is a thief of time. But that does not mean that you are lazy or unwilling to work. It can often mean that you just don't know where or how to begin.
It all just seems too hard, too time consuming, too unfair that you 'have to' do all these things on the list. As a result of being overwhelmed and unable to deal with your obligations you start to fall further and further behind, until you are so snowed under that you will need professional help to dig your way out of the mess you are in.
You keep pushing your work further back until you realize that you are too late. You regret the missed opportunities but can no longer do anything about it. That is such a sad story! If you have enough pride and integrity in you, you wouldn’t want to be that person. It’s embarrassing to be labeled as lazy. These people will never get the respect of their peers.
Remember when you first thought about what you will be like as a grownup? The innocence of childhood allows you to go above and beyond everything. Back then, you never took into account just how difficult it is to attain success. Nonetheless, you still felt good about the possibilities open for you. As you become older, you learn that the rules aren’t exactly what you thought. The world works differently for adults. It is harsher and more unforgiving, but that is what reality is. It makes no excuses for those who want to just sit and wait for things to happen to them.
Some may be lazy for lack of vision. They don’t know what they want to be, and nothing seems to make them happy at the moment. They become angry people who can direct their frustrations to anything that they encounter. However, this is still no excuse for poor behavior. They should set aside time to reflect on their life and see what they are good at. Everyone has a destiny to fulfill, and being lazy isn’t part of the list. Yes, as ridiculous as this notion sounds, it actually makes perfect sense. You need time out to recuperate. You may continue to still do nothing but at least you are giving your future some thought.
Taking time out is not laziness. You should see it as a time of healing. Your bodies and minds work in ways you aren’t always aware of. When life gets too chaotic, you need to take a step back and discover your true being. After the much needed self-isolation, you need to make plans for your life. What hinders you from working? List all the things that distract and tempt you, remove these from your life as you clear your space from clutter. Create a room for productivity to make sure that you get to work continuously. When people realize that you are actual doing something about your life, the ones that deserve your friendship will give you all the help you need.
Now comes the fun part! You have to change the way you view your life. Instead of thinking that you can never amount to much, think of how you are able to surpass every hurdle. Be creative and invent ways to help you discover how to work efficiently and effectively. This is the time to see yourself as the child living the dream. Play is the most creative spark in the world because this is where great ideas stem from. Ask friends to help you discover your talents and learn more about your abilities. When you realize that you can actually do things, you will crave for more. You will now demand more from yourself because you now believe that you can contribute to the world.
