Observing nature is always a way to understand our Creator, and His thought processes concerning all of creation. A blade of grass grows independent of anything within it; it has no say in the matter. It just grows according to the instructions of its’ Creator.

We, as human beings, reside at the highest tier of God’s creation, because of one simple element, choice! The only thing separating us from the blade of grass is that we must choose to place ourselves in surroundings that cater to us evolving, as opposed to just naturally fulfilling the potential that resides in each and every human being.

In my book, The Universe is Inviting You In, I say that “Potential is useless if it never becomes a reality.” We are the only species that must activate the potential that’s inside of us in order for it to become a reality. We aren’t privy to the hands of Mother Nature.

Mother Nature creates the environment necessary for everything under her umbrella to thrive. We were given power and dominion over the earth, so we must activate the forces of potential that every human being possesses.

I played collegiate basketball at the NCAA Division I level, and I’m only two years removed from it. Naturally, I still enjoy the game. Since my antennas are always up, I allow every situation in life to speak to me.

When I play basketball with players who do not share my level of talent, I find myself doing just enough to win. As I play with players who share, or exceed, my level of talent an entirely different animal comes out of me. An intensity stirs up in me and I begin to play like the collegiate player of old.

In order to continually evolve in life, you must place yourself in surroundings that cater to your evolution in whatever arena you envision yourself operating in. Your TRUE nature is to unceasingly evolve into Divine greatness! But you must actively participate in your evolution by placing yourself in environments which encourage your emergence.

Your surroundings are the key to your evolution. You will either play to the level of your surroundings, or your surroundings will make you play to the level of you. The “level of you” that I speak of is the true you; the ever-evolving you that is activated when you consciously choose the surrounding necessary to activate the next facet of your brilliance and greatness!
